Temi di ricerca
I am a labor economist with a special focus on education, migration and family economics. In my most recent research I show that: (i) it is possible to measure selection into treatment in many RDD settings and, in particular, parents select high ability children to start school early in Italy, (ii) daughters increase their labor force participation in response to their mothers retirement only in countries with weak family policies and strong family values, and (iii) migrants move where their skills are scarce.
